For this once in a life time experience join us
and trek over 100 miles across the Mohave Desert in Southern California
following the historic Mohave Road.
The
Mohave Road began life centuries ago as a trade road for the Mohave Indians from
the Colorado River to the Pacific , the indians then led European settlers
through the desert on the route and it subsequently became a major trail to
the west.
Today it remains virtually unchanged from those early days, come
with us on this fantastic journey into the past and explore the history,
culture, wildlife and solitude of the old "Wild West".
We will spend 10 days
trekking the road through the stunning Mohave National Preserve wild camping on
route. For your safety we will be fully supported throughout by
4x4.
To culminate the trip we
will move up to Death Valley and spend the last few days explore this breath
taking part of the Mohave desert system with the option of trekking to the
summit of one of the surrounding peaks for an amazing view of the whole
valley.
